Mike Rowland, founder and owner of AT&D, is a recognized trainer and expert in dog behavior and has been training dogs and their owners since 1988. Over the years he has trained over 18,000 dogs (and even some dingoes).

During his career, Mike has:

• Served as an expert witness in dog related court cases.

• Conducted bite safety seminars. (Past clients include United States Postal Service, United Parcel Services, and municipal meter readers)

• Conducted behavioral seminars for rescue groups and veterinary offices.

• Designed specialized dog-training courses for industry use. (Examples include nationally known Innotek Pet Products)

• Trained dogs and cats for TV commercials.

• Served as a therapy dog tester and judge for the national registrar, Therapy Dogs, Inc.

• Served as an AKC judge for the Canine Good Citizenship designation.

• Served on the board of the SPCA.

As a trainer in beginning and advanced obedience, plus specialized training, including being an expert in behavioral problem training and aggression, Mike is very good at reading dogs quickly and dealing with problem or difficult behavioral issues. The training methods practiced are aimed at establishing a clear communication between you and your dog utilizing positive training techniques.
