  • Therapy Dog

    These dogs are trained to serve the community in a variaty of settings, such as: hospitals, nursing homes, schools, and libraries. They provide comfort and emotional support for members of their community.

    The training process involves obedience, socialization, and proper etiquette when interacting with members of the community. Therapy dogs are well-behaved, friendly and well-mannered,

    Our therapy dogs are trained and tested for certification through Animal Training and Development.

  • Personal Protection Dog

    These dogs are trained to protect and defend a person, family, and/or property. Protection dogs are vigorously trained to recognize a real threat from normal human behavior. They are confident and well-balanced as family dogs, while staying ready to defend.

    We will evaluate your current pet, or help place one into your lifestyle and needs.

    Animal Training and Development has trained protection dogs for over 20 years.

  • Service Dog

    A service dog is a dog trained to perform specific tasks to assist individuals with disabilities. Service dogs can be trained for mobility assist, medical alert and response, and psychiatric alert and response.

    These dogs have special rights to accompany their owner anywhere the general public may go. Animal Training and Development has specialized in Service Dog training for 10 years and will evaluate a current dog, or place a dog in a home.

    Our service dogs undergo extensive training, as well as our own formal test.
