3 Reasons enrolling your pup in puppy preschool is a great idea
Even if you're confident in your ability to teach your pup how to go potty outside, to sit, and to come, socialization is something you're not going to get at home, and there's really no replacement for it. Puppy class is a time for them to learn about themselves, other dogs, and how to interact with one another in a safe, positive environment. This kind of socialization and learning takes place during a small window early in life, and the lasting effects are powerful. Don't miss out on the chance to teach your pup the interpersonal skills he needs to make doggy friends later in life.
Puppyhood is the best of times, and it's the worst of times. If you find yourself asking, "Is this normal?" when your pup does something unexpected or a little naughty, we're here to tell you — it probably is. The best part is, you'll be in a class full of other puppy parents asking themselves all the same questions. Bounce ideas off each other, learn to laugh off the chewed up flip-flops, and maybe even make a puppy play date with some new friends!
3. Problem solving.
Is the first house training trick you tried not working out? We hate to break it to you, but there's really no one-size-fits-all solution. Pups are as different as children, and training needs to be catered to their unique personalities. Coming to class with an instructor who has years of experience has its perks — we usually have one trick or another up our sleeves. When you're at the end of your rope, we're here to offer you a hand.
